One civilian dying every three hours in Yemen fighting – Oxfam

One civilian has been killed every three hours in fighting in Yemen since the beginning of August, with many more people succumbing to disease and hunger, Oxfam said today.  The Saudi-led coalition and the internationally recognised government are battling with the Houthis to control key ports and cities in the country.

Oxfam and Kids are kids invite you to participate in the 4th seminar on migrant children education

The seminar on integration and education of migrant children will take place on 29-30 October 2018. It will become fourth in the series of seminars organized by Integration Centre for migrant and refugee children “Kids as kids” and Oxfam in Russia. The seminar also serves as the final stage of the international exchange project titled “No borders integration” aiming at strengthening capacities of specialists working with non-native speaking children. The project is being implemented jointly by Mediaost Events und Kommunikation and Destination Est with financial support from Auswärtiges Amt (The Federal Foreign Office). 

August the cruellest month in Yemen – Oxfam  300 children amongst almost 1000 civilian casualties

August has been the bloodiest month this year for civilians in Yemen due to a combination of the warring parties’ reckless disregard for civilian lives and the failure of their political backers to offer any action to prevent the carnage said Oxfam today.
