The “Youth Business Russia” program was cofinanced by Oxfam in 2010-2011 and was implemented by the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF). The program was aimed at the promotion of youth entrepreneurship, the search for alternative methods of creating jobs and the promotion youth involvement in social and economic processes in the region. To achieve these objectives, the program enabled young people to receive available funds – credits (loans) to start their own business. In addition to financial support, the young people also had access to individual help from mentors, consultation in the preparation of business plans, and training in various business issues that can allow young businessmen to quickly get on their feet and avoid common mistakes at the start of a business.
