Oxfam's consultant on gender equality and BRICS Feminist Watch member Rebecca Perkins attended the parallel event for civil society, dedicated to advancement of the feminist agenda in the area of development in the context of BRICS. The event was held on the side of the 62nd session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women in New York. 

 Is there future of the collaboration between civil society and New BRICS Development Bank?

Since the creation of the NDB, civil society has been working to establish collaboration with the Bank. Civil society experts recommended the Bank to adopt Gender policy to ensure that all of the Bank's operations and documents are gender-sensitive.
