History of Oxfam began in 1942 in Oxford (UK), where a small group of university students decided to establish the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief to direct food to the starving civilians in Greece during the Second World War. & Nbsp; & nbsp; After the war, since the 50s of the last century, the committee not only ceased to exist, but work on the extended assistance to victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters around the world, and began to help people in the poorest countries of the world, helping them to survive in difficult conditions.
